Icon Panel (Flat) with Braces

Traditional handmade icon panels crafted from solid linden wood with authentic gesso surface preparation and reinforcing braces. These panels provide the perfect foundation for painting icons using traditional egg tempera techniques.

Features:

• Solid linden wood construction
• Traditional gesso applied by hand
• Reinforcing braces for added stability
• Flat surface (no ark/kovcheg)
• Multiple sizes available
• Ready for egg tempera painting

Each panel is carefully prepared following traditional iconography methods, ensuring an authentic surface for your sacred art. The braces provide additional structural support for larger panels.

Panels are made to order, and custom sizes are also available upon request. Please allow the appropriate amount of time (depending on my schedule at the time of your order. Contact me if you have questions, but usually about 2 weeks) or if you would like to inquire about a custom order.
